Because it Rocked
First and foremost is the sad remembrance of a great crooner, Frank Sinatra. It’s actually the tenth anniversary of his death.
*sighs* Oh Frankie. When I’m feeling blue or mushy over my deployed husband, I lock the kids in a closet and kick back to some Frankie. Hands down, he’s my favorite male Standards singer. Ella Fitzgerald is my very first fave, Frankie coming in second and Dean Martin in third. Any of you who are too young to know these singers, you must immediately go away. You make me feel old. I remember wanting to grow up to be just like Ella when I was first really learning how to sing and to this day, I still croon her songs in the shower.
Now onto the coolness.
Indiana Jones is ALMOST as cool as Chuck Norris. I might get my ass kicked for saying so, but sometimes you have to take that chance. If I’m dead in the morning, Norris has extracted his revenge for my irreverance.

THE HAT! Yes, fellow Indy geeks, this is your destiny available here. If I could own everything imaginable from that website, I would. My last order was an insanely high dollar amount that showered my husband and I in geeky goodies and gave my inlaws enough material to tease me about for weeks. But I don’t care. I geek out so badly over their site so much that it hurts. I enjoy being a n3rd and I don’t care who knows it. I’m sorry, did you mistake my “nerdy and awkward” for genuine humor? I regret to inform you, you were mistaken.
Aw come on, who wouldn’t love a website that has actual caffienated soap?

I have yet to see any of the Indiana Jones movies (besides a clip here and there, or a parody), but I must say that he does have a very snazzy looking hat. I’d like one myself.
I’ve heard of those crooners, and Frank Sinatra was most wonderful, but I’m not very familiar with any of them. One day, I hope I will be.
amazing XD. I call ‘em frankie too! I have to tell some of the peoploe I hang out with that “frankie” is actually just a nickname, and not his real name, cuz I swear (bad language aside), they have no clue! *cries* Frank Sinatra is my fav, more than Ella, (though Ella was damn awesome too!

I have to say also that the Rat Pack kicks a$$ though! ever seen Oceans Eleven? the one with Frankie and the Gang?! amazing *bazza*

I love Indiana Jones. lol. Can’t wait to see the new movie as a matter of fact. lol
I was actually living in Vegas when Frank Sinatra died. The entire downtown strip went completely black to honor him. I was on the strip when it happened, it was the most coolest/ strange thing I had ever seen. Coolest because it’s Frank Sinatra, strange because Vegas NEVER goes black…never. You know Vegas is all about the lights.

I love their caffeinated soap! I would have some, but I shower before bed, so it’s counter-productive for me.
@himynameisgusandiscarepeople - I shower before bed too. But I keep thinking about buying that soap and washing my face with it in the morning. Then, my body would be all snoring and my face would be all AAAAAAHHHH!!!!!!!

So FMB and Legendairy requested for my services as a campaign manager. Hahaha :] Really really awesome. I am so honored. So I’ll be very busy again for the next month or two–depending on how long this contest will run. I don’t know, I think you should be a judge. Although that would take up a lot of time. But think about it. I honestly think you would be an awesome judge since your Ms. Xangan Idol 1!

@life_by_us - Yeah, I think so.. Some comments in her post include spidey saying he wants to judge. And ABF accepted. ABF said there are going to be 5 judges and 1 guest judge every round… I hope you’ll be a judge.. Not that I’m thinking you’ll be bribed but I know that you have great judgment.. :]
And yeah, I’ll go tell Daniel to make sure we visit Texas.. We will be living in New York.. I promise to go there.. So be ready to bake em cookies Gorgeous.

i just found thinkgeek.com today, so when i saw it in your webtags i had to check out this posting. it’s a great site!
(and p.s… i love ella. frank’s okay, but michael buble’ has redone so many of his songs and i really like the little bit of contemporary in his sound. i don’t care for dean martin, but that’s probably a reflection on his persona rather than his music.)
