My freagin’ vegan
There’s an alien in my belly. Apparently the alien hates red meat. And dairy. Salad is cool but absolutely NO pepperoni’s. (what? Pep’s *make* the salad.) Caffeine does NOTHING for me anymore so Baja Blast Mountain Dew is no longer my mother’s milk. Pregnancy sucks.
But red meat… Ugh, my nemesis. For HOURS after consumption, I’m laid up with indescribeable pain.
Dear Medium-Rare Steak,
I miss you. We’ll be together soon. Just let me get this hippie vegan out of my tummy. I’ll drench you in A1 sauce and we’ll prance together in a meadow.

Hehe…the joys of pregnancy. I missed seafood te first time. THe smell made me ill. I hope this vegan child gets over this fast….

it reminds me when i was a toddler…my dad told me i didn’t want to eat any meat or even egg until i was 6…he was afraid i wouldn’t grow up since i was born earlier and such a very little baby so he had to make a “chicken shake” whole chicken churned into chicken soup mixed with milk and veggie for me instead to lure me to eat meat…but i don’t know if my mom couldn’t eat any meat or dairy between pregnancy with me.
i hope your little alien will change its mind soon lol
ahhhhh manda hang in there it will get better!! sometimes after the first trimester those things dont bug ya anymore!!! i love and miss you much!!!

@praytherosaryeveryday - Oh definitely! This is number three for me. I can’t wait to feel the very first tiny little kick. I’m sitting quietly longer lately in hopes that I won’t miss it.
@starrynite45 - My two year old girl eats her veggies but no meats yet. My dad says that’s why she doesn’t have any hair yet.

My mother had to endure this through ten children.
That is so not cool your little one hates the co meat. Is it just beef or does the same thing happen with lamb as well? My aunt was a vegan before she got pregnant, but started to crave streak and hasn’t looked back since. Hopefully this food aversion will only last until the next trimester.
I hated chocolate when I was pregnant, but I would have cried if I had to give up meat :0(
most of us, no matter how strong or jaded are stomachs are,.. have spent at least one sleepless night being terrorized by a pepperoni pizza working it’s way thru our intestines :O

Me thinks I shall have the t-bone for lunch today. Wait, that NY strip does look sooooo good. AH! T-bone for my main course, Strip on the side, and yes, I will have a steak salad to start, thank you.

@Dare2BDiferentt - I want your mother to know that she’s one of my heroes. We want at least five kids, we have two with number three on the way. At this rate of childbearing, I’ll probably be crazy by baby number 4.
I’ve NEVER HAD TO KNOCK ON WOOD! But I know someone who has. Which makes me wonder if I could?
