  • Politics: A Photoblog

    Watch it until the
    end.
Maybe it’s because I’m pregnant, but that ending made a
tear come to my eye. Fargin hormones.

    The left is
getting really hard up to find dirt on Palin and it sucks that they
have to resort to making stuff up.
    Example:
    Book
    Banning – False
    Firing a librarian – False
    Palin took
money from special needs programs – False
    Sarah Palin in a
Bikini with a gun – False (photo shopped)

    Here’s some truth for you:

    Obama’s Truth:

    McCain/Palin’s truth:
Regardless of physical afflictions or poor timing,  a baby is never a mistake.

    Bi-partisan truth:

    McCain:
    Muslim-robed  Obama:

    Obama:   McCain:

    Obama:

McCain:      (This pic really doesn’t mean anything… I just thought he looked like Chuck Conners in  the old 1950′s show “Rifleman”.)

I love posting this. It makes the angry liberals send me nasty messages.  Why can’t people support their party without  slinging personal insults or resort to name calling? You darn lipstick wearing pigs….

  • Hello Amanda! It has been quite a ong time since we last talked. The Pixie misses you! How is the baby coming along?

I hope everything is fine and I hope you talk to me soon. I miss you!

    Love, Ritzy Poo

  • lol!  How true is all that!  i love the “it worked in blazing saddles”.  You know you’re going to have to provide proof for your accusations that are false, otherwise the libs will just say yer lyin. lol

those darn welfare collectin, tree huggin, gun takin, religion hatin hippies…

  • No one can truly pull off a cowboy hat… Unless that no one is Chuck Norris. But then, it’s a someone. It’s Chuck Norris.

  • @grim_truth -

I’ve been duking it out with a lib on another of my posts where I quoted Snopes as my fact site. http://www.snopes.com/politics/palin/bannedbooks.asp I love getting under their skin with the truth.
You calling them hippies reminded me of the McCain rally I went to when he announced Palin as his VP. (I don’t think you were reading my blog then.) We shouted insults at the Obama-loving protesters which included “FRIGGIN LIBERAL HIPPIES- GO HOME!!!”
My poor sweetheart standing next to me was pretty embarrassed.

  • As one of the few people (or so it is beginning to seem) in this country who has no political affiliation, I want to say, can’t we all just agree to disagree. You have a right to your opinion, without someone bashing you on your own site. It’s your blog, you can say whatever you feel like saying. I’m sorry you have to deal with people like that.

  • great blog!  yeah,  i just love the haters who come to my page simply to hate.  oh wait.. no i don’t.  :)

  • Most of the time I don’t have much to say, partly because it’s hard for me to find the right words, and other times because I just don’t feel like talking. This fits with not finding the right words, but the words I do know that I want to say include: “Even though I don’t comment a lot, I want you to know that you’re one of my favorite xangans.” hehe =D

  • fyi: The last picture you have on this blog (the cowboy), if you thought it was Chuck Conners from the “:Rifleman”, you are incorrect.  Because I am old as dirt, I recognize the actor as James Dean from his movie “Giant”. He starred in “Giant” with Elizabeth Taylor and the “Fabulous” Rock Hudson.  Besides, Chuck Conners in the “Rifleman” looked like my daddy at that time!  Also, although the picture of Sarah in a bikini with the gun is a photoshop, your father thinks it is one of the HOTTEST pictures he’s ever seen.  I’m surprised that he did print it out, enlarge it and put it up on the wall in this “Gun” room.

  • @Mommaquack -

No, I knew it wasn’t Chuck Conners. The site I got it from said it was an OLD McCain photo. But I think he looks similar to Rifleman in it.

  • @Infamous_Dewey -

You are such a doll, and I love it when you *do* find the words to comment with. *heart*

  • You are kind of awesome.

For some reason, politics becomes a really personal thing to a lot of people when discussing politics. Some of the people I appreciate most in this world is the ones that can put personal feelings aside in order to have an adult conversation about current events and politics.

  • Putting your hand over your heart, doesn’t make you patriotic. Not doing it doesn’t mean you’re not. Wearing the clothing of your family doesn’t make you Muslim at all. You’re reaching too, kiddo.

  • wait wait wait… have a question. i don’t understand why obama wearing the traditional clothing of the middle east is a negative thing… or what makes that muslim clad…. i mean its a common thing all over there… and even if it was muslim clad why is that bad? i don’t get it… i went to a lecture about this today how people see it as a negative but i don’t get it. no no i’m not being a jerk or a ‘crazy lipstick wearing pig’ of a liberal… i’m just asking… whats wrong about having a faith other than traditional christianity?

  • According to the AP, Palin did threaten to fire the librarian, but backed off after an outcry from the town. The reason cited for this almost-firing was that Palin did not feel she had the “full support” of the librarian. The controversy is because she had made several inquiries about banning books before this incident.
    AP article

That picture of Obama was taken during the singing of the national anthem, not during the pledge of allegiance. This was an isolated event, and (in my opinion) does not in any way indicate that he is an unpatriotic man. He has worn traditional middle eastern clothing in the past. It’s a common practice for people, especially politicians, to wear traditional clothing of countries that they visit. We have picture of Bush wearing traditional Russian clothing, Hillary Clinton wearing a burqa, etc.

And for the record, I am not a liberal. I will not be voting for Obama.

I am a libertarian and a journalist. And I have a problem with propaganda.
